5k s/b on that one EDIT, Dec 10 - I won this one for my 5k bid.

10e s/b on that one EDIT, Dec 10 - I won this one for my 10e bid (70-80k value these days.)
I was surprised I didn't have to fight anyone else for this one, but I do not regret buying it! I guess the market for inherent Holy Rods puts more value on "perfect" mods and/or lower reqs for maximum wanding damage from their protters?
20k s/b on that one EDIT, Dec 10 - After being outbid, I later raised my offer to 10e, only to be outbid again. I can't honestly say my 10e raise had more to do with my own opinion on how much I was willing to offer on this one than with ... well, picking on Aris. But he valued this focus more than I valued the focus or picking on him. So he wins.

50k offer on that one EDIT, Dec 10 - I won this one for my 50k bid (which was the only one of the lot where I intentionally opened with a higher offer than the s/b.)
pedrobds gave me a 10k discount on this one in particular, but he told me it was for buying more than one item. I wasn't expecting a discount, and I would have willingly paid 50k for this had he not told me to pay less.
I think that's all. Please do let me know if I'm outbid or buyouts are set!
Thanks & Cheers!
EDIT - post trade feedback, Dec. 10, 2011
pedrobds and I traded the above an hour or so ago in game. He gave me a small "bulk discount" which I wasn't expecting at all and did not include in the edits here, which I leave in the hopes they help with future PC.
I cannot leave my standard glowing feedback here, only because of one issue. So I'm leaving ... B feedback overall without any hard feelings between us. Nothing about what happened here will make me hesitate to trade with pedrobds in the future. If you want the details for why I'm not leaving perfect feedback, click the button.
He loses points because the OP stated

Between having chatted with him a bit via PM about some items here from his earlier PC thread and that line, I opted to post my offers here on Dec. 5 rather than PM them to him. I figured he did not have hidden reserves and he was not likely to draw this out indefinitely.
Maybe 1.5 days later, late Dec. 6 / early Dec. 7, he PMed me to let me know he'd posted a b/o for the Chalice Aris and I had a mini-bid war over. That was very cool of him! I'd asked to be alerted about such changes, and it was very thoughtful and responsible of him to reply - thank you again for that!
At that point, I asked him in PM if there were any hidden reserves I was under that I had not realized. I asked if the line from his OP was, indeed, the case for the items I'd bid on, and if I should expect to win them for my posted offers soon unless I was outbid. His prompt answer left me with the impression that yes, that was the case (although he did not spell it out/say it as a guarantee.)
So the deduction is because then this took four more days, three more than I expected at the beginning.
I PMed him earlier today, Dec. 10, and asked if we were going to finish this trade within the next 24 hours. It wasn't ragey or insulting, just matter of fact. If he wanted to wait longer, that was fine with me. But I had already waited longer than I expected here, had not been outbid, and so I was ready to finish this. If he was willing to trade in the next 24 hours, so was I. Otherwise, I was going to retract my bids and stop holding that fake-money in reserve to cover them. I wound up finding him in-game before he replied here. We finished the trades after I repeated my assertions that I was not pissed at him or threatening him and would hold absolutely no grudges if he wanted to keep waiting. As far as I could tell, he did understand that and was ok with it.
I can relate to how difficult it is to figure "fair market value" for inherent gear like he has here ... really, I can relate! So I do understand and forgive him being less than 100% positive about what amount of fake-money is "fair" and what isn't. I don't envy any player having to make that decision when selling pixels they don't want to keep for themselves!
Through this whole thing, pedrobds has seemed nothing other than a decent, easy-going player. I really am not left with any kind of negative impression of him or of trading pixels with him in general!
After we traded I did warn him of the coming less than A+ feedback! mark and luny-book explanation. He was even easy-going about that!
In conclusion, this trade was not as simple or short as I was led to believe, but I trust the reasons for it were both understandable and forgivable. I cannot in good conscience leave perfect feedback, but nothing that happened here is nearly so bothersome that I would worry about trading with pedro again in the future.
Thanks again for the awesome new additions to my fun pixel collections! Cheers & Good luck with the sale!
